The Binding of Isaac creator Edmund McMillen has updated his blog with loads of new info about the upcoming console version of his religious-themed horror roguelike.Most importantly he confirmed that publisher Nicalis is already working on the PS3, Vita and PC versions of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. He also noted that Nicalis is currently in talks with Microsoft and Nintendo. "We are also looking into an iOS version if its not garbage," he added.
McMillen, who will serve as lead designer on the project, said that the remake's second expansion will be approximately the size of The Wrath of the Lamb DLC and will feature a new final chapter, ending, two new playable characters, and lots of new items, rooms, enemies and bosses. "The goal will be to make replaying the whole game not only worth it but also make it so it feels very fresh and new."
