Sony sells 525,000 PS3s in the US during the week of Black Friday

Sony has announced that it sold 525,000 PlayStation 3s and 160,000 PS Vitas in the US during the week of Black Friday.
To put this in perspective, Microsoft sold 750,000 Xbox 360s, and Nintendo sold 400,000 Wii Us, 300,000 Wiis, 275,000 DSs, and 250,000 3DSs.
Sony noted that its bundle sales grew 15 per cent year-over-year, while its total PS3 sales including hardware, software and peripherals, grew nine per cent. Evidently the Ultimate PlayStation Value Bundle, which included a 250GB PS3, the Uncharted Dual Pack and the inFAMOUS Collection for $199 "quickly sold out at retailers across the US."
