    Foreboding point-and-click adventure Richard & Alice is out today on GoG for $5.99 or your local equivalent.
    For those not familiar with it, Richard & Alice is described as a "sophisticated and mature" adventure about two prisoners in a snowy not-too-distant future. The titular characters are strangers quarantined across the hall from one another and throughout the course of the game they'll learn about each other via playable flashbacks and dialogue trees when they're not attempting to bust out of prison. The game features several endings determined by obscure player actions where it's not always clear that you're making a choice ala Silent Hill - or real life, for that matter.
    I've not played it yet myself, but ex-EG contributor and Rock, Paper, Shotgun PC guru John Walker spoke highly of Richard & Alice in his appraisal. "Richard & Alice is a poignant, well-told tale, exploring themes of hope, despair and morality. And that's not a thing you can say about enough games," he wrote.
