A fortnight ago publisher Ghostlight announced the European release date for Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor: Overclocked, a 3DS remake of the 2009 DS cult-hit Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. Understandably, fans have been asking about its sequel, the DS-exclusive Devil Survivor 2, which was released in Japan in 2011 and in North America in early 2012.
Ghostlight updated its official blog to inform everyone that the European version of the game is complete and even approved by Nintendo, it just needs to find a way to release it, which is easier said than done given that DS titles are being phased out of retail.
"Without going into too much detail, retail support for DS titles is understandably low at the moment making it difficult for us to release the title," said Ghostlight. "We haven't given up though and we're currently looking into several different ways of making this fantastic game available to you all."
