Developed with Unreal Engine 3 by a ragtag crew of ex-staff from Quantic Dream, Sony Liverpool and Dontnod (Remember Me), Strike Vector look like it could rival a triple A game based on its lavish trailer below.
One thing that really appeals to me about it is there seems to be plenty of Return of the Jedi-esque weaving through stuff, which I always found vastly more appealing than empty open space battles. The crowded scenery full of floating stations and triangular beams recalls the best bits of Rogue Leader and the ability to switch between a turbo-focused Jet Mode and a mech-like Hover Mode that operates more like a typical FPS "with increased precision, ironsight and strafe based evasion moves" looks like a welcome addition to the template (even if it didn't work out so well for Strike Suit Zero).
