Microsoft has rebranded its cloud-based file hosting app SkyDrive as OneDrive following a copyright dispute with the British telecommunication group BSkyB.
As reported by CVG, a UK court ruled in favour of BSkyB and Microsoft initially stated it would appeal the decision, but the two companies worked something out and Microsoft was given "a reasonable period of time to allow for an orderly transition to a new brand."
That new brand sounds a little less like something that would inadvertently manufacture terminators and it ties into the Xbox brand better as the file hosting service is a perk of Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One, where it allows users to upload gameplay videos.
