Steam gets user-defined tagging

Valve has added user-defined tagging to Steam, which should make it easier to shop for games in the digital platform's bulging catalogue.
The new feature, currently in beta, lets users tag any game with genres, themes, attributes or any other term or phrase. Swear words will of course be filtered out.
The most popular tags on any given product will be surfaced on the Steam product page so users can find other games associated with that same tag. You can also browse by popular tags and browse by tags recommended for you.
