Oculus Rift production on hold after component issue

The developer of Oculus Rift has run out of components to make more headsets, and production has ceased as a result.
Oculus' virtual reality goggles have been a smash hit - so much so that the supply of parts needed to make them has now been exhausted.
"Certain components used in the Oculus Rift developer kit are no longer being manufactured, meaning they are no longer available to us for production," the company revealed in a post on the Oculus Reddit. "As a result, we don't have the necessary materials to produce additional kits.
