What if Valve made a fighting game featuring a cast of characters from Left 4 Dead, Half-Life, Team Fortress 2, and Portal?
It’s probably never going to happen (unless they all start appearing as playable Heroes in Dota 2), but one talented animator created a video that imagines what the opening movie for that game might look like.
YouTube user Crazyhalo (via Polygon) explains that “Super Smash Bros. Source” is set to the style and tune of Super Smash Bros. Melee’s opening movie, with elements from both Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the first Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64. Check out the comparison video below to see just how faithful and creative his recreation is.
So, who do you think would win in a fight? Gordon Freeman or the Heavy? Chell or the G-Man? The Boomer or Wheatley? Tell us in the comments below.
