Sony Pictures and Sega planning annual Sonic movies

Sega's teamed up with Sony Pictures to make films about its mascot Sonic the Hedgehog.
The plan, according to Deadline, is to pump out a film a year.
Sega's Japanese Marza Animation Planet company will help make the films, which will be a mixture of CGI and live-action - possibly like Sony's Smurfs films, pondered the Hollywood Reporter.
