How's this for an unexpected and bizarre crossover: the mismatched worlds of Blizzard's Diablo and Sony's The Last of Us will meet in a special dungeon for the PS3 and PS4 versions of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls' Ulimate Evil edition.
In the dungeon, your Diablo 3 heroes will battle clickers, stalkers and bloaters - the infected enemies from Naughty Dog's game. I'm guessing it will slot into the game's pell-mell Adventure Mode, rather than the main storyline.
The announcement was made at Sony's E3 press conference. A screenshot showed a bloater in the game, and truth be told, it didn't look that different from the gallery of grotesque monsters Diablo fans might expect. But still!
