Hello! I think I remember reading somewhere that The New Yorker magazine would only use the word odyssey if it referred to a journey that began and ended in the same location. I may be wrong about this, mind, just as I may be wrong in linking that anecdote to this video which - I think - has a story about Oli Welsh and Johnny Rotten near the beginning and again at the end.
