inXile Entertainment has advised that post-apocalyptic role-playing game Wasteland 2 will likely launch in September - not August as planned.
The game will probably slip into the first or second week of September, project lead Chris Keenan wrote on the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter page, due to "the fulfillment of the physical goods and discs". Expect an exact release date soon.
Elsewhere, the Steam Early Access version has been updated with a raft of improvements. inXile has run a balance pass across the entire game, tweaking enemy AI, damage, weapons, dropsets and skill use. It's added a mini-map, optimised memory and load times and made visual and functional improvements to the user interface. There's also new audio and better visual effects.
