Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is definitely not coming to Wii U, developer Sledgehammer Games has confirmed.
"No Wii U. That was an Activision decision. We are focused on Xbox One, PS4, and PC," tweeted Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey.
This isn't hugely surprising as listings for it hadn't popped up yet, but there was still a chance that a different studio could port it the way Treyarch's Wii U team brought last year's Call of Duty: Ghosts to Nintendo's fledgling console. In fact, the Wii U port of Ghosts wasn't announced until several months after the other platforms were confirmed, so Nintendo fans had reason to suspect Advanced Warfare would follow suit.
