The legendary gift that Bungie promised for all Destiny players has now been delivered to the in-game postmaster.
Players have begun to find in their mail a random legendary weapon, sent by an "unknown benefactor." Collected reports from players on Reddit suggests that the special gift can either be a primary, secondary, or heavy weapon.
Gifts are handed out on a one-per-account basis, meaning that players with multiple characters will need to think carefully about who should receive the gift.
Bungie announced this week that it was handing out special random gifts to all its players as a "token of gratitude." Bungie said it was "sure some gifts will be swiftly dismantled," allowing players to use the gift for Ascendent materials if they wish.
