  • DRM-Free Games Platform, GOG.com, Adds Mortal Kombat, Harry Potter Games

The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red's DRM-free digital distribution store GOG.com is making moves. Not long after launching a Movies section and reaching a deal with LucasArts to bring classic Star Wars games to the site, GOG has now announced its latest publishing partner, and it's a big one.
Thanks to a new agreement, PC games from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are now available through GOG. The first additions are Bastion, F.E.A.R. - The Complete Trilogy, LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4, LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, and the Mortal Kombat 1-3 Bundle.
All except the Mortal Kombat bundle are available for as much as 60 percent off, this week only. Head to GOG's website for more information and to buy the games.
GOG VP of business development and operations Oleg Klapovsky said more Warner Bros. games are coming soon, though he didn't mention any by name.

"We are very happy to see another of the gaming's juggernauts venture into the DRM-free waters with us," he said.
GOG's list of partners now includes heavyweights such as Electronic Arts, Activision, Ubisoft, and Square Enix, among others. In all cases, games sold through GOG feature no form of DRM whatsoever.
GOG.com turned six years-old in September last year. For more on the site's evolution, check out GameSpot's interview with managing director Guillaume Rambourg.
