Supermassive Games on Friday released a new, Valentine's Day-themed trailer for upcoming PlayStation 4 horror game Until Dawn, and it's quite creepy.
Love may be in the air, but death is, too. Watch as scenes of passion are juxtaposed with encounters of the grisly and horrifying kind.
Until Dawn, which was previously in development for PlayStation 3 with Move support before shifting to PS4, is due to launch later this year. The game follows a group of eight friends who take what they think will be a fun trip to a cabin in the mountains.
Of course, everything goes wrong, and they must fight to survive all night...until dawn.
Until Dawn leans heavily on player choice. Supermassive explains that how you interact with the other characters can have major implications down the road. For instance, if you are mean to a friend, this person may or may not choose to help you later in the game when you need them most.
"The narrative will always continue forward, adapting to your decisions throughout the game, meaning that your game will be noticeably different from anyone else's," executive producer Pete Samuels says in a post on the PlayStation Blog.
Hollywood actors such as Hayden Panettiere and Rami Malek will appear in the game.
Until Dawn isn't the only game celebrating Valentine's Day. See the stories below for what other developers are doing to mark the lovey-dovey day.
