A nationwide rollout of Apple Pay support at GameStop is underway. By the end of the month, all of GameStop's more than 4,200 stores will support the new payment option.

Apple pay will also be supported on Apple Watches, which arrive in April.
Other retail stores that now accept Apple Pay include McDonald's, Panera Bread, Office Depot, and many more.
According to GameStop senior vice president Jason Cochran, supporting Apple Pay will make it "easier and more convenient" for people to shop at GameStop.
“Providing a positive, memorable customer experience is our top priority," he said in a statement. "Incorporating the latest in mobile technology, like Apple Pay, into our stores is another way we are offering customers options to help simplify their purchases."
GameStop also announced today that its Spring Mobile subsidiary will start accepting Apple Pay later this year.
Apple has stressed that it's taking security very seriously with Apple Pay. When you add a credit or debit card to the service, the actual numbers are not stored on the device itself or even on Apple's servers, the company says. Every transaction is authorized with a one-time security code, which aims to keep your personal information safe.
