At E3 last month, Microsoft asked fans to send in pictures of their Gears of War-themed tattoos for a shot at getting a "remaster" from tattoo artist Steve Soto. The winners were chosen and they got their fresh ink at Comic-Con last weekend. Now, Microsoft has published a video about the whole thing.
Check out the video below, which is meant to promote the upcoming release of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, but also includes footage of someone getting the world's first Gears of War 4 tattoo. You can also visit the dedicated Gears Ink website to see even more Gears of War tattoos.
The Gears of War: Ultimate Edition release date is set for August 25. Also arriving that date is a new $350 Xbox One bundle that comes with a copy of the game. The game itself sells for $40.
Looking further ahead, the Gears of War 4 release date is currently scheduled for holiday 2016.
