Fallout 4's Pip-Boy accessory in its Collector's Edition has been such a sought after item, publisher Bethesda has admitted it simply cannot produce any more of them due to the manufacturer being too busy to make further stock.
Bethesda's Marketing VP Pete Hines revealed this tidbit to GameSpot at QuakeCon this weekend. "We reached a point where we'd go back to the factories and they were like, 'guys, this is it, sorry. This is as long as we can run the lines and as many of them as we can make.'"
According to Hines, the manufacturer was fairly flexible about altering its pipeline to make more Pip-Boys, but enough was enough and the company simply had to move on to other clients' work.
