Ori and the Blind Forest is getting an expansion this year

Acclaimed platformer Ori and the Blind Forest is getting an expansion later this year on Xbox One and Windows 10, Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has revealed on Twitter.
The game took developer Moon Studios nearly five years to make, and it turned a profit after only one week on sale. Moon Studios' founder, Thomas Mahler, even expressed a desire for the IP to expand into film and suggested he'd like to make more Ori games. "I think we crafted a big world with memorable characters and there's a lot of potential for us to go in and keep working on that tale," he said back in April, not long after Ori's launch in March.
Eurogamer contributor Dan Whitehead recommended Ori and the Blind Forest in his review. "It's no exaggeration to say that Ori and the Blind Forest is still arguably the best Microsoft console exclusive of the last six months," he stated.
