  • Fallout 4 "Educational Video" Explains the Importance Of Being Strong

Bethesda on Thursday published the first episode in a seven-part "educational video series" for Fallout 4 that aims to teach survivors of total atomic annihilation how to rebuild and thrive. The series comes from the fictional Vault-Tec organization, and talks about a person's seven defining attributes: Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck. Together, this forms S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
This first video focuses on Strength, with the other six to come later. "Study these materials carefully to ensure your survival and to discover what makes you S.P.E.C.I.A.L.," Bethesda said.
The video reveals some of the weapons players will have at their disposal in Fallout 4. These include a handheld chainsaw called the Ripper, a barbwire baseball bat, a nailboard, and a Power Fist.
"The greater your strength, the greater the impact," says the video's narrator, alluding to the game's progression system.
In other news about Fallout 4, Bethesda has announced post-launch plans for it, including regular free updates, paid DLC, mods, and more. In addition, Fallout 3's Three Dog voice actor has confirmed he won't be back for Fallout 4. The actor, Erik Todd Dellums, claims he was never even asked to audition.
The Fallout 4 release date is set for November 10 across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
