  • Watch Final Fantasy 15 "Universe" Trailer That Covers Game, Movie, and More

Square Enix today released a new Final Fantasy XV trailer that shows off all of the elements that make up the game's universe. This includes the game itself, the upcoming Kingsglaive movie, the Brotherhood anime, and the tie-in mobile pinball game, Justice Monsters Five.
"The main reason for creating this universe is to provide many avenues of enjoyment before FFXV is released so you have the richest possible experience when you play FFXV," reads a line from the video's description. Square Enix added that all elements of the Final Fantasy XV universe can stand on their own and be enjoyed without the others. Take a look:
In related news, the third episode in the Brotherhood series was published today, July 7. You can watch the 13-minute episode here on YouTube, while the two previous chapters can be seen here.
The Final Fantasy XV release date has been confirmed as September 30, 2016. It will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while Square Enix is "thinking about a PC version." If the RPG does come to PC, fans should not expect this version to launch alongside the console editions in September, if it happens at all.
As for the Kingsglaive movie, it debuts this summer. The movie will feature Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones), and Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings). It's directed by Takeshi Nozue, the co-director of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and longtime cinematic director at Square Enix.
