Ben Affleck's Batman wasn't the only version of the Caped Crusader to feature in a key trailer at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. A hilarious new promo for The Lego Batman Movie was revealed, in which the Dark Knight is forced to take responsibility for the young boy he has adopted. Check it out below:
The film is a spinoff from 2014's hugely popular The Lego Movie. It is directed by Chris McKay, and produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who helmed that earlier film, as well as the Jump Street films, and the upcoming Star Wars Han Solo movie. Check out previous trailers for the film here and here.
Bruce Wayne is played once more by Arrested Development star Will Arnett. The film also features Michael Cera as Robin, Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, and Mariah Carey as, er, the mayor of Gotham.
The Lego Batman Movie will be released on February 10, 2017. A sequel to The Lego Movie is also in production, but that won't arrive until February 2019.
