Over two years ago Tarsier Studios, the Swedish team behind LittleBigPlanet Vita, unveiled a spooky platforming adventure called Hunger. It received a glorious teaser trailer last year and now Bandai Namco has picked it up under the new name Little Nightmares.
The eye-catching title follows the exploits of a little girl in a yellow raincoat who has been captured by monsters and placed onboard a horrific vessel called The Maw where creatures are trying to eat her.
As you can see in the following trailer, Little Nightmare's eye-catching aesthetic is less LittleBigPlanet and more like the inspiring offspring of Jean-Pierre Jeunet (The City of Lost Children, Delicatessen) and Playdead (Limbo, Inside).
