Today at Gamescom, Microsoft announced new FIFA 17 Xbox One S bundles.
Debuting on September 22, the systems will be offered in 500 GB and 1 TB varieties. The 500 GB system costs $300 and the 1 TB model will go for $350. Here is what it looks like:
They both come with copies of FIFA 17 (digitally), three Ultimate Team Loan Legends, and a one-month subscription to EA Access. If you're looking for an Xbox One S and are planning to pick up FIFA 17, this could be a bundle worth waiting for.
The September 22 release for these Xbox One S bundles is ahead of FIFA 17's September 27 launch date, though it's unclear if FIFA 17 will be playable early for people who buy the console package.
The FIFA 17 Xbox One S systems will be available in the US, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada starting on September 22.
This is just the latest Xbox One S bundle from Microsoft. A 1 TB Xbox One S system that comes with a copy of Madden NFL 17 debuts on August 23, while Halo-themed bundles are also launching that day. Looking further ahead, a 2 TB Gears of War 4 Xbox One S system arrives in October alongside the game.
The Xbox One S is 40 percent smaller than the current Xbox One and comes with an internal power supply, compared to external for the existing model. It also supports High Dynamic Range (HDR), which offers "richer, more luminous colors."
It also comes with an updated Xbox One controller that features a new textured grip, better wireless, and Bluetooth support. This controller can also be purchased separately.
Additionally, Microsoft is planning to release a new, more powerful Xbox device, called Project Scorpio, in holiday 2017. Microsoft has referred to this system as the "most powerful console ever made."
