If you're looking for some new desktop wallpaper and enjoy The Witcher, today is a good day. CD Projekt Red has released some new wallpaper artwork for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and it's pretty striking.
We see Geralt walking through a pool of what looks like blood on his way to an evil tree. The artwork was published on Facebook and can be downloaded using the links below.
In other news about The Witcher 3, the Game of the Year/Complete Edition is scheduled to come out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 30. It comes with the base game and all previously released DLC, including the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions.
The package costs $50, which is just about the same price that you can get The Witcher 3 and its DLC for on Steam right now as part of a midweek sale. In addition, The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings are discounted significantly as part of the promotion, which ends tomorrow, August 26.
Witcher 3 Wallpaper:
A fourth Witcher game could happen, but don't expect it anytime soon. Instead, developer CD Projekt Red is focusing on its futuristic role-playing game, Cyberpunk 2077. The next game with ties to The Witcher is Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, which is scheduled to come out later this year on PC and console.
