[UPDATE] This being the internet, someone quickly put together a Harambe Patronus image. JK Rowling retweeted it, leading some to believe it was indeed a real Patronus. But this is not the case.
The original story is below.
The Harry Potter site Pottermore was updated today with a new game of sorts that lets you discover what your Patronus is. You need to be a registered Pottermore user to take the test.
As we learned in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the Patronus Charm is a defensive spell that creates a glowing "animal guardian" that can be used for protection against Dementors.
Harry Potter's Patronus is a stag, while Hermione's is an Otter; Ron's is a Jack Russell Terrier. You can take the test here; it involves completing a multiple-choice test written by J.K. Rowling herself. You must make your selections quickly and you can only discover your Patronus one time--no do-overs.
Rowling's Patronus is a heron. Mine turned out to be a brown owl. Let us know what your Patronus is in the comments below.
The Pottermore site also lets you take the Sorting Hat test to see what Hogwarts house you would live in. Additionally, you can take a similar test for the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
