Firewatch is getting a film adaptation

A Firewatch film adaptation is in the works.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Firewatch developer Campo Santo signed a deal with production company Good Universe (Oldboy, Neighbors, The Night Before) to make both films and video games, with the first collaboration being a silver screen adaptation of Firewatch.
The game, which starred Mad Men's Rich Sommer and The Walking Dead's Cissy Jones, sold upwards of 1m copies upon its release in February.
