  • PC-Exclusive RPG Tyranny Release Date Announced With New Trailer

Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian Entertainment's new fantasy RPG Tyranny will launch on November 10, publisher Paradox Interactive announced today.
The game will launch on that date for PC, including Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. Additionally, preorders for Tyranny opened today, while a new trailer has also been released. Take a look:

There are three versions of Tyranny available. These include the Commander Edition ($45), the Archon Edition ($60), and the Overlord Edition ($80). Each comes with the base game and extra digital content in the form of things like forum icons and avatars, ringtones, the soundtrack, and and art book. Check out the chart below to see a breakdown of what is available in each version.
Tyranny is the follow-up to Obsidian's well-received Pillars of Eternity. It is not a sequel, however, but instead tells a brand-new story that explores what might happen if evil won out.
We played the game at E3; read our impressions here. In September, we had another hands-on session with Tyranny, when we learned about the game's spell-crafting system and more.
