  • Mass Effect: Andromeda and South Park: The Fractured But Whole Release Dates Leaked (

Mass Effect: Andromeda and South Park: The Fractured But Whole have been listed for March 31 and 30 release dates respectively by Microsoft.
On the official Xbox Live Rewards website, the games are both slated for March launches, though the dates stated could simply be placeholders.
It's worth noting that many of the dates listed on the Xbox Live Rewards page are one day earlier than the actual release date. For example, For Honor is listed for a February 13 launch, despite its official release date being February 14.
Another of the games listed, Injustice 2, currently has no official launch date, but is listed on the same page as Mass Effect and South Park as having a March 28 release. Ed Boon, creative director of the the fighting game's developer, NetherRealm, responded to the speculation by tweeting, "FYI: Injustice 2 is not coming out March 28."

Nevertheless, this is a promotion aimed specifically at games releasing in the first quarter of 2016, with the exception of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, which launches soon after, on April 4. Microsoft explicitly states Ghost Warrior 3 must be preordered by the end of March to qualify for the promotion, but it doesn't say anything similar for Mass Effect: Andromeda, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, or Injustice 2.
Previously the closest we had to release dates for South Park: The Fractured But Whole and Injustice 2 was a vague "2017" window. Mass Effect: Andromeda's release date has been the subject of much intrigue since the game's delay last year. Developer BioWare said at the time that the space RPG would ship in "early 2017." That came shortly after publisher EA had said the highly anticipated sequel would be available in "[financial] Q4," which spans January to March. Retailer listings had previously suggested a March 21 release.
In other Andromeda news, BioWare has stated that a Nintendo Switch version is not currently planned, despite Mass Effect 3's Wii U release. The developer has also told fans to expect new gameplay footage from CES on January 4. Keep an eye on GameSpot for all the latest news on Mass Effect: Andromeda and Injustice 2.
