The very first time I went hands-on with Watch Dogs 2, I expected to hate it. I'd been burnt by the first game, and the sequel trailers that I'd watched so far tried too hard, in my opinion, to capture a Hipster-ish vibe that just wasn't my cup of tea.But, turns out, I was pleasantly surprised. A vibrant, colourful San Francisco replaced the boring grey skyline of the original, the missions this time round were far more imaginative and entertaining, and best of all, the characters weren't as annoying as I thought they'd be. Except for Wrench - he can do one.
Anyway, I played through the entire game start to finish, which is something I couldn't bring myself to do with the original. Since then, I've been looking forward to returning to Marcus' world of Hacktivism in post-release content.
