Friday the 13th patch slays team killing

Friday the 13th: The Game's latest patch went live earlier this week and brought with it some much needed changes to the game.
Perhaps one of the most significant is the removal of the ability to kill your teammates. Early this month, when publisher Gun Media announced team-kills would be removed in the next patch in a reddit post, it explained the reasoning behind the change was due to "rampant/unwarranted team-killing".
Players will still be killed if they are hit by a car or if they are overly damaged by a player-placed beartrap, but deaths from beartraps will no longer incur an XP penalty.
