  • WWE Survivor Series 2017: Match Card And Predictions

It's the one time of the year where the Raw and Smackdown go toe-to-toe in the ring to see which show is superior. That's right, it's Survivor Series, coming to PPV and the WWE Network on Sunday, November 19. This year's event is taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT, with the Kickoff Show starting at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT. It's looking like Survivor Series is going to be one incredible night, as every major WWE title will be on display that evening, but only one championship will be on the line.
The afternoon and evening will have eight matches--as of this writing--and one of which will be on the two-hour Kickoff Show starting two hours prior. Here is the full match card and our predictions, and make sure to come back on Sunday for our live coverage.

Enzo Amore (c) vs. Kalisto - Kickoff Show

    (For the Cruiserweight Championship)
Once again, Enzo faces Kalisto for the Cruiserweight Championship. This feels like deja vu. The only real difference between this time compared to the last is that Amore has Drew Gulak backing him up, and Gulak has been utterly entertaining to watch. Because of this, I think Gulak is going to be a big factor and help Amore retain the title.
Our Prediction: Enzo wins after Drew Gulak interference

The Shield vs. The New Day

This match has a special place in my heart. I'm not particularly a fan of The Shield, but having them go up against Smackdown's The New Day makes so much sense. Both 3-men stables are incredibly over on their respective shows, and this will be the first time The Shield has competed together at a PPV since 2014. As much as I love New Day, Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins fighting together is a no-brainer for the win.
    Our Prediction: The Shield wins

    The Miz vs. Baron Corbin

The Miz makes any rivalry worth while, just by jumping onto the mic. The Intercontinental Champion will be taking on Baron Corbin, Smackdown's United States Champion. Even if you don't like Corbin, The Miz's segments on Raw have completely hyped this match up. Maybe it's the fanboy in me, but The Miz is going to take this one.
    Our Prediction: The Miz wins

    Alexa Bliss vs. Charlotte

On this past Tuesday's episode of Smackdown, Charlotte beat Natalya for the Smackdown Women's Championship, which means she'll be facing Raw's Alexa Bliss in a champion vs. champion match. It was such a good move for WWE, as both of these stars will put on one hell of a match. This is a tough call, and even though I love Alexa Bliss, I'm giving the edge to Charlotte, but this will be a close one.
    Our Prediction: Charlotte wins

    The Bar vs. The Usos

While on their own, both of these tag teams are phenomenal, the tag champ vs champ match is completely over-shadowed by everything else on the card. It's hard to get excited about this match when everything else has been built up a bit better. For no real reason, we're giving the win to The Bar because they don't raise the bar, they are the bar.
    Our Prediction: The Bar wins

Team Smackdown vs. Team Raw - Women's Survivor Series Match

Completely ignoring the background colors WWE used in its promo image, five Raw superstars are taking on five Smackdown superstars, one of which is unknown as Charlotte has been moved out of the match. It's hard to give Smackdown a fair chance of winning when Raw has Asuka, and she is a beast. I don't see anyone eliminating her, and because of this, Team Raw will get the win.
    Our Prediction: Team Raw wins

Team Smackdown vs. Team Raw - Men's Survivor Series Match

Both Raw and Smackdown hand-picked their biggest superstars--that aren't currently title holders--to find out which men's roster is superior, and both teams have management getting into the act. Shane McMahon representing the Smackdown brand and Kurt Angle and Triple H representing Raw. While having John Cena join Smackdown is a pretty big deal, Raw's team seems more stacked and therefore, will get the win.
    Our Prediction: Team Raw wins

    Brock Lesnar vs. AJ Styles

WWE made a great decision having Styles beat Jinder Mahal a couple weeks back, so Styles could face Lesnar at Survivor Series. Prior to that, the main event wasn't anything to get too excited about, but now that Styles is in the mix, I could actually see this not only being a great match but Lesnar losing. Call me crazy, but I'm giving the win to Styles.
    Our Prediction: Styles wins
