Seth Killian - former Capcom marketting chief, EVO founder, and the face of Street Fighter - has found a new home at Sony's Santa Monica Studio working on such games as PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
His official role is lead game designer for the external group at the Santa Monica studio. He explained on the PlayStation Blog that he'll work with outside studios like Journey's thatgamecompany, Sound Shapes developer Fun Bits Interactive, and most notably Superbot Entertainment, the team behind PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
"Fighting games are very close to my heart, and as someone that's spent much of my life with traditional fighters, All-Stars has been a great opportunity to take a step back and rethink fighting fundamentals from the ground up," said Killian. "The entire team was put together from scratch to create this game, and they are loaded with fighting game superstars."
