New to COD

Hey all, I recently purchased COD. (yeah I know I am always a year or 2 behind) Can anyone recomend a good server?

Did you buy Cod with the add-on inclusive? Or only Cod?
Do you use Xfire?

I don't know your ping on HPC, but if it's good...HP has Cod servers too. I guess a dawnville and a stalingrad server.

Thanks for your help, you always have great info. My ping on HPC is good, usually in the 70's. What are the advantages of xfire?

I went to the HP web site and I couldn't find any info or a ip addy for a COD server. Any info would be great.

Great to see that you use Xfire now. What I like the most is the buddy tracking. You always see where your friends are playing and you just have to click on them if you want to join them in game.
And I like it that it shows me the servers I recently visited.
It was often that I found a nice server and couldn't remember the name the next time I played.
I don't think it would make your ping worse when you have it open while playing. I have it always open (and Skype too) and have no problems with it.

To make sure it recognizes every game you have installed...click on "Tools" --> "Find Installed Software"...then it looks out for your games. When it finds something, just click the game-name, then the path and then on apply.
