The end is in sight for The Simpsons: Tapped Out, EA's long-running and hugely successful free-to-play city builder. The publisher has announced it's removing the mobile game from app stores this October, some 12 years after its initial release.
Well, this was a nice surprise. Ahead of its reveal today in the Convergence Games Showcase during Tokyo Game Show week, I was invited to play a mysterious new project from Bandai Namco. A new creation from the home of Tekken, Ace Combat, and Tales? I wasn't sure what to expect - and indeed, Hirogami is like none of those series.
It's been a while since we heard anything substantial from Little Big Adventure: Twinsen's Quest, the remake of long-defunct developer Adeline Software's much-loved 1994 action-adventure. But it's now returned in a flurry of news, bringing with it a new trailer, a limited-time Steam demo, and a 14th November release date on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
