louis vuitto taschen Ich kann nicht fassen, dass sich die Manner Week in The big apple dem Ende nähert. Die letzte Woche fühlte sich viel länger an, als sie war – und doch verging sie wie im Flug. Das magazine am Schlafmangel liegen, an den vielen Veranstaltungen, oder daran dass person durch die weiten Wege zwischen den Reveals die meiste Zeit unterwegs, in der Schlange am Coffee-Shop oder mit Warten verbrachte.Ich war extrem begeistert, meine Lieblingsbloggerin aus The big apple, Leandra Medine a.k.a. The man Repeller, im Mercedes-Benz-Zelt beim Job interview mit Supermodel Jessica Stam zu sehen.Dort traf ich außerdem Schwedens erfolgreiche Bloggerin Elin Kling, die auf dem Weg zur Diane von Furstenberg-Show war. Ihre an der Seite geschnürte Hose und die Manolos erinnerten mich an die frühen 2000er, die bei der diesjährigen Style Month ein großes Comeback feierten. Aber dazu später mehr …Ari Cohen, der Blogger hinter dem Projekt „Advanced Style“, organisierte spontan eine Style Indicate mit diesen stylischen Damen – die leider von der Polizei unterbrochen wurde. Ich bin begeistert vom Mut dieser Ladies und fand es toll, dass sie sich nicht die Laune verderben ließen.Die Schauen fanden nicht alle am Lincoln Center statt. Mir ist im Laufe der Woche aufgefallen, dass – abgesehen von den interessant gekleideten Menschen, die gentleman dort bestaunen kann – die wahre Action in den Off-Locations stattfindet.In den USA läuft die Designer-Serie „Project Runway“, moderiert von Heidi Klum, schon seit 2004. Doch kein Designer hat sich so aus der Masse herausgehoben, wie Christian Siriano (der die Present 2008 gewann). Ich hatte die Ehre mir seine Present in den Eyebeam Studios in Chelsea – nicht weit vom Style Institute entfernt – anzusehen.Die vom Ballett inspirierte Kollektion bediente sich komplett am Pastell-Farbspektrum und bewies, dass der Pastell-Trend auch im Frühjahr 2013 noch nicht vorbei ist. Zu meiner Begeisterung schickte Siriano, der für seine High-Heel-Designs bekannt ist, einige Models in flachen Schuhen auf den Laufsteg.     Die besonders hippen Designer zeigten während der Vogue Week ihre Kollektionen in den renommierten Milk Studios in Chelsea. Diese Location, die als Fotostudio und Veranstaltungsort dient, ist der ultimative Hotspot für junge und innovative Designs. Ein Highlight war die Kollektion von Jeremy Scott, mit der ich die Style Month abschloss. In der ersten Reihe saßen unter anderem Paris Hilton, Tyra Banks und die Sängerin Grimes. Mit der ironischen Ästhetik, für die der Londoner Designer bekannt ist, schickte Scott seine Models in schrillen Burkas, schusssicheren Westen und Shirts mit AK-47-Print auf den Laufsteg.Was auf den ersten Blick nach Geschmacksverirrung aussieht, ist sehr viel relevanter und genialer, als gedacht. Es ist absolut clever, sich stiltechnisch an Metropolen wie Abu Dhabi und Dubai zu bedienen – schließlich sitzen dort diejenigen, die sich die Kleidung leisten können und extravagante Kollektionen kaufen. Und auch den Nerv der coolen Kids trifft Jeremy Scott: Die Exhibit weckte Erinnerungen an das Video der M.I.A. Single „Bad Girls“. Und die Laufsteg-Musik von Aaliyah oder Missy Elliott aus den frühen 2000ern ist inzwischen auch wieder total angesagt.Und was wäre eine Style Week, ohne jede Menge Inspiration auf der Straße? Zum Schluss gibt es für Euch noch einige Momentaufnahmen und Streetstyles, die es nicht in meinen letzten „NYFW Streetstyle“-Post geschafft haben …Auch wenn bei der Manner Month High Heels noch immer ein absolutes Muss sind, bin ich froh dass sich langsam der Trend zum Sneaker entwickelt. Wurde ja auch mal Zeit, dass sich die Füße ein wenig ausruhen dürfen …Zusammen mit Carina und der kalifornischen Bloggerin Hannah Harris habe ich das Mercedes-Benz-Zelt unsicher gemacht. Male achte auf den Herren, der mich beim Fotografieren fotorgrafiert! Natürlich habe ich während der Fashion Week fleißig Fotos auf Instagram gepostet, um Euch auf dem Laufenden zu halten. Meine Lieblingsmomente habe ich in einer Collage versammelt.Jetzt ist die Manner Week vorbei, die rosarote Brille wird wieder abgesetzt und der Alltag beginnt.
