  • MSI Equips Mobile Workstation with Nvidia Quadro K2000M GPU

The latest mobile workstation from MSI packs some powerful components.

MSI is targeting professional content creators in need of a potent system on-the-go with its new Quadro Workstation (GT60-0NG), a Windows 8-based laptop wielding an Nvidia Quadro K2000M GPU. It supports more than 150 professional applications, including Adobe CS6, Avid Media Composer, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX, PTC Creo, and many more, MSI says.
"The MSI GT60-0NG platform, with the Nvidia Quadro K2000M, is the ideal form factor for CAD and DCC professionals that need the flexibility to be mobile, yet still need the proven reliability and stability of a workstation-class solution," said Shawn Worsell, product line manager at Nvidia. "Mobile Workstations enable explorers, designers and artists to unleash their creativity anywhere, and everywhere they go."
Outside of a powerful GPU, MSI's latest laptop also features a 15.6-inch Full HD 1080p display, Intel Core i7 3630QM processor, 12GB of DDR3-1600 memory, 750GB hard drive (7200 RPM), Blu-ray burner, Killer Game Networking, 802.11n Wi-Fi, multi-format memory card reader, 720p HD webcam, three USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, and a 9-cell battery.
The Quadro Workstation is available for $2,100 at Newegg and Amazon.
