Since Microsoft put so much effort into unifying Windows 8's user interface (UI) across multiple devices, we expect to see a fair number of dual-function devices moving forward. One of them is MSI's Slider S20 Ultrabook Convertible, which as the name implies is both an Ultrabook and a tablet, depending on how you have the touchscreen oriented. Is it the best of both worlds?
We'll be in a better position to answer that question when we have a chance to play with one first-hand, perhaps at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week. In the meantime, a peak at the system specs reveals an 11.6-inch Full HD 1080p (1920x1080) display with 10 points of multi-touch support, an unspecified Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of DDR3 memory, 128GB solid state drive (SSD), mini-HDMI output, two USB 3.0 ports, 720p HD webcam, and of course Windows 8.
