Corsair on Tuesday said it has begun shipping its new Hydro Series H60 liquid CPU cooler. The H60 is a low-profile, self-contained liquid cooling solution that boasts easy installation and enough cooling prowess to handle high performance systems. And unlike many water cooling setups, this one runs under $80.
Key features of the H60 include a redesigned microchannel cold plate with a new fin design that results in a larger surface area of copper, a new split-flow manifold that delivers coolant directly to the center of the cold plate (typically the warmest area of the CPU), and a custom designed 120mm fan with high static pressure to allow for more cold air to be drawn through the radiator.
"Corsair brought reliable, easy-to-install liquid CPU cooling systems to the masses with the groundbreaking Hydro Series H50," said Ruben Mookerjee, VP and General Manager for Components at Corsair. "With the new H60, Corsair provides a new level of performance, ease of installation, and affordability."
The Hydro Series H60 is available with an MSRP of $79.
