And DarkAngel, I'm American too. I don't think anybody disagrees with the fact that the Trade Center attacks were horrible. But there comes a point where there's been enough bloodshed... where America has gone out and conquered enough Middle Eastern countries enough different times... that we say, wait, something is wrong about this. Clearly, our foreign policy isn't working. And the fact that Bush's initiative to start the war with Iraq was 90% motivated by his & Cheney's shares in Halliburton... in light of new facts that 1) Halliburtion is effectively a monopoly for oil and rebuilding contracts after the war, and 2) Halliburton is overcharging by a large sum for both activities... makes the "retribution" and "weapons of mass destruction" ideas look like a shill we were fed so Bush could just go have his way. There seems to be something deeply inconsistent between that and America's alleged "Freedom".
