The notion that the US has occupied Iraq for their Oil is ridiculous. Our Oil imports from Saudi Arabia haven't changed one bit. And why would we bother setting up a new government made up of Iraqi's if oil was our goal.

He is not calling Bush Hitler, he is making a comparison between the Nazi Regime and how they 'worked' in order to gain public support, and the propoganda machine that Bush wields everytime he opens his mouth. Regardless, however you feel it discredited his information, there is later on in the piece factual historical events that critique Americas actions and foreign policies.

There is only one word necessary in reply to this - Hiroshima. But don't kid yourself, the Japanese economy is nothing like Americas, so I am not sure how you equate Americas influence as to what Japan has become, be it successful or not.

I agree with you 100% here. We should have eliminated the threat before 9/11 happened. It's a well known fact that our decision to pull out of Somalia after we were attacked showed weakness. And Osama Bin Laden believed that after the 9/11 attacks, we would leave the middle east..boy did he guess wrong.

Interesting that you should write that. I'm glad you did because it saved me alot of typing. These freedoms that you speak of are what the United States was founded upon. And they are also the reasons for our actions in that article that you speak so negatively about.
