New Zeus Touch all-in-one systems from CyberPower PC start at $899.
Here's a riddle for you: What is Zeus without his Thunderbolt? If you guessed an "all-in-one (AIO) PC," pat yourself on the back, and then thank a teacher, without which you may not have been able to read the headline. CyberPower PC's Zeus Touch line is the latest in an influx of touch-capable AIO systems built around Windows 8, though unlike some of the others, Zeus is "fully expandable," CyberPower PC says.
With a starting price of $899, mere mortals are welcome to play with Zeus. A baseline configuration consists of:
- 21.5-inch touchscreen display (1920x1080 resolution)
- Intel Core i3 3220 processor
- 8GB Corsair Vengeance Gaming DDR3-1600 memory
- 1TB hard drive (7200 RPM, 32MB cache, SATA 6Gbps)
- 24X DVD burner
- GbE LAN; 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi; Bluetooth
- Wireless keyboard/mouse
- 720p webcam
- 2 x USB 2.0 ports; 2 x USB 3.0 ports
- Windows 8 64-bit
- 3-year warranty (limited); Life-time tech support
That setup isn't going to make Hades quake in his sandals, though there are plenty of upgrade options. For example, an additional $310 doubles the amount of RAM, bumps the processor up to an Intel Core i7 3770S, and swaps the HDD for a 120GB Corsair Force GT solid state drive, to name just a few of the options. Unfortunately, you can't add a discrete graphics card, which makes hardcore gaming Zeus' Achilles heel.

The Zeus Touch 1000 ($899), 2000 ($1,099), and 3000 ($1,199) are all available now.
