  • GPUBoss Does for GPUs What CPUBoss Does for CPUs

New website allows you to sort through graphics cards like a GPUBoss.

A couple of months ago, we were introduced to CPUBoss.com, a handy website that sought to make it easy to sort through and compare different processors. We thought it was an interesting concept, and apparently so did you -- the site now generates 15,000 visitors a day, we're told. But what if you're in the market for a graphics card? That's where GPUBoss.com comes in.
"We’re excited to announce we’re launching GPUBoss.com, a user-friendly site that makes it easier to compare desktop graphics cards to find the best one for your gaming or computing needs," the makers of CPUBoss told Maximum PC in an email. "Similar to its predecessor, GPUBoss captures a massive amount of specs, benchmarks, and reviews data from around the web and organizes it in a visually appealing UI."
GPUBoss opens its virtual doors to the public on March 19th, though we were allowed to poke around beforehand. When it launches, you'll be able to see head-to-head comparisons between graphics cards with pros and cons of each one, search for the best graphics card by criteria (game performance or best value), and more.
From our quick glimpse, the results are pretty accurate, too. Comparing a Radeon HD 7870 to a GeForce GTX 680, for example, yields a slight advantage to the latter with an overall score of 5.9 versus 5.4, with the differences fairly well highlighted.
Check it out when it goes live and let us know what you think. In the meantime, feel free to show some love by liking their Facebook page.
